Personal Injury Lawyers handle many types of cases.
If you’ve been injured in any type of accident, or are the victim of malpractice, it is wise to consult with a lawyer regarding your rights. While not every injury amounts to a case, all too often accident victims fail to receive compensation for their injuries because they wrongly assume “there’s nothing I can do”. An experienced lawyer can analyze the facts and circumstances surrounding your injury and advise you on the many laws dealing with personal injury. A lawyer, if warranted, will investigate your claim to determine any and all negligent parties who may be liable to you. The fact is there are certain instances where the law gives you a right to sue for your injuries even when no one is negligent!
Following is a list of different types of cases handled by personal injury lawyers. The list is not meant to be complete or exhaustive. Remember any injury could be the basis for a case so it is wise to seek legal advice immediately after you suspect you’ve been injured as a result of someone’s negligence.

June 15, 2015 at 4:39 pmThanks for sharing these different types of personal injury cases. I had no idea that there are so many different types of cases in just one field of law! I know that I wouldn’t be able to specialize in all of these different types of injuries. In fact, are there lawyers who specialize in things like asbestos exposure?

July 20, 2015 at 12:53 pmThere are a lot more types of personal injury cases than I ever thought there would be! I didn’t even realize that false arrest/assault would be categorized under personal injury. Though, now that I think about it, I can see how it would fit in. Do lawyers specialize in each of these subcategories, or do they mostly just stick with the main ones?
